Duties Can Include:
Contributes to the implementation and monitoring of the investment portfolio across traditional and non- traditional asset classes, including working with investment staff on the analysis and preparation of investment recommendations, portfolio modeling, asset allocation, manager selection, and oversight of existing managers.
Monitors portfolios of marketable securities (public equity and fixed income) and non-marketable securities (private markets and hedge funds) to assess
valuations in manager and custodian statements.
Maintains, reconciles, and monitors exposure, valuation, and performance data within SCERS’ portfolio analytics system.
Compiles data and prepares investment reports and financial statements; prepares monthly and quarterly portfolio reports, including performance reports.
Assists with the preparation of investment articles for
SCERS
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Public Administration or other field directly related to the intent of the class.
