Volunteers Have Discussion with Students

RTSWS High / Secondary School Programming and Alumnae & Career Center serve student cohorts in cities of your choice across the US, UK and Canada. Female financial professionals provide RTSWS classroom curriculum and guidance on identifying and pursuing career interests, networking, and preparing young women for university.

Volunteer-at-Board-Table

Our ratio of 2:1 student to mentor results in young women intentionally planning out these critical stages.

RTSWS offers multiple volunteer opportunities for all levels of company employees – from your recent college graduate to your C-level executive.

We provide programming throughout an academic year, there are ample opportunities for you, your firm and employees / colleagues to volunteer from September through April, or in one of their pillars as work schedules may determine.

Lead Volunteer Position

1 to 2 per school
This position coordinates instructor/mentor recruitment activities for the duration of the academic year as well as handles logistics for the field trip.

Recruitment for volunteers occurs 2 times per academic year for the following

Autumn Financial & Investment Workshops; 1 hour each session x 4
Female financial professionals lead classroom workshops once per week,
4 weeks during the months of September-October (volunteers are asked to attend at least 2 sessions) 4-6 Volunteers 

  • Includes hands-on financial math projects including investment management
  • RTSWS provides the curriculum

Autumn “Wall Street Experience” Office Field Trip; 4 hour session x 1
8-10 Volunteers

  • “Lunch & Learn” style event, office tour and panel discussion with your team leaders
  • RTSWS offers sample agenda for planning

Spring Mentoring Sessions; 1 hour each session x 3
Once a month during the months of February, March and April (volunteers are asked to attend all 3 sessions)
5-8 Volunteers

  • Female financial professionals provide guidance on identifying
    and pursuing career interests, networking, and preparing for university
  • Our ratio of 2:1 student to mentor results in young women intentionally
    planning out these critical stages of their lives
  • RTSWS provides the curriculum
