After enjoying a thriving 25-year tenure on Wall Street, Maura Cunningham founded Rock The Street, Wall Street with a mission to empower young women and amplify diversity in an industry that propelled her forward as a first-generation college graduate. With unwavering determination, foresight, and collaboration with industry leaders, RTSWS is not only expanding the talent pipeline but also advancing alongside its high school students through the innovative platform of its Student & Alumnae Career Center. RTSWS adds chapter in Fort Worth

RTSWS adds chapters in Charlotte and Los Angeles

2018

RTSWS scales to 18 schools in 13 cities expanding from coast to coast, adding programs in Atlanta, GA; Minneapolis, MN; Omaha, NE; Raleigh, NC; ST Louis, MO & Sacramento, CA

RTSWS has now impacted over 1750 girls since 2013

2019

Women’s Bond Club of New York City of New York City honors RTSWS founder with the Betty Cook Award, given to “an exceptional woman who has devoted much of her career to helping other women.”

J.P. Morgan M&A team led by Anu Aiyengar, partners with RTSWS to host historic all female M&A Case Study, with junior and senior female analysts working alongside high school girls

RTSWS scales to 28 schools in 15 cities adding Philadelphia, PA; Kansas City, KS; Redwood City, CA; New Orleans, LA and Sand Diego, CA

Washington Post includes RTSWS and Founder & CEO, Maura Cunningham, “Wall Street says it cares about diversity. But most big banks won’t share complete workforce data.”

Transition to fully remote learning due to COVID-19 pandemic

Launches RTSWS Program Mobile App

RTSWS adds 11 new cities to now be in more than 50 schools in 25 cities.  With chapters in Dallas, TX; Gallatin, TN; Gulf Port, MS, Houston, TX; Indianapolis, IN; Newport, RI; Salt Lake City, UT; San Francisco, CA and Short Hills, NJ

Large footprint expansion in Silicon Valley and Chicago

Launched RTSWS Internship & Job Portal pilot

2022

Served over 4,000 girls with over 1,000 reached in a single year
