Canyon Summer Internship Program
The Canyon Partners Summer Internship is an 8-week rotational program geared towards undergraduate college students to provide a real-world view of asset management. Interns will spend time in some of the major business units of the firm to get a sense of the workflow, tasks, and collaboration that are involved in the day-to-day operation of the business. These rotations will include investment research and ESG, real estate, marketing, and legal and compliance.
- Investment Research and ESG – Learning about the investment due diligence process, including conducting primary research on companies and industries through studying sell-side reports, speaking with consultants, reviewing financial statements and gathering data. There will also be an introduction to implementing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) considerations in investing.
- Real Estate Investing – Conducting market research, financial feasibility studies, and other projects.
- Client Services & Business Development – Preparing investor materials for existing clients and prospects,
running data analysis on portfolio performance, and ad-hoc projects. - Legal & Compliance – Reviewing marketing materials, reviewing firm trading, and analyzing new and proposed
legislation that relates to investment advisors
