Improving girls’ financial education and literacy in high school is critical to changing America’s gender wage and wealth inequalities, the college debt crisis (which disproportionately affects women), and creating a more diverse financial industry. We must teach girls to be fiscally confident by familiarizing them with financial terms, exposing them to female role models, teaching them about investing (not just budgets), and opening their eyes to how finance affects their lives.

100 Women in Finance (100WIF) is a global organization committed to gender equity in finance. The 100WIF jumpStart Program is a multi-day virtual experience that provides college-age students with an introduction to the financial services industry and the opportunity to meet experienced professionals. 100 Women in Finance co-sponsors a RTSWS cohort in NYC.

STREAM hosted their 2022 Summit at Southern Methodist University, Cox School of Business. The event was for college students interested in pursuing a career in finance.

At STREAM, their mission is to educate, train, mentor and provide scholarship and internship opportunities to students from underrepresented groups in the area of asset management, with the ultimate goal of increasing industry representation.

RTSWS shares STREAM’s internship program with our students in DFW area.

CFA Society San Francisco hosted a LIVE Fireside Chat with leaders of Rock the Street, Wall Street. The moderated conversation with RTSWS Founder and CEO Maura Cunningham and RTSWS BOD member Reginald G. Sanders, CFA, CAIA, Director of Investments at W.K. Kellogg Foundation, offered a thought-provoking exchange in which they discussed why we are losing girls and other underserved youth in math, how RTSWS is stemming this tide, and how you and others can be part of the solution.

The MidSouth Alternative Investment Association (MSAIA) is a knowledge-based, networking organization connecting over 700 alternative investment professionals in the MidSouth through informal gatherings and fundraising for worthwhile charities. The entrance fees are donated to RTSWS.

MSAIA offers a professional environment for constructive dialogue among members through educational programs, networking events, and other services designed to facilitate communication within our community of institutional investors, high net worth investors, alternative investment money managers, professional service providers, and academics. RTSWS frequently attends MSAIA events.
