Inspiring Conversations with RTSWS COO Ashley Leftwich
We’re delighted to share a spotlight on Rock The Street, Wall Street ‘s Chief Operating Officer Ashley Leftwich as featured in NashvilleVoyager, part of the LA-based Voyage Group of Magazines. Ashley explains that as the child of STEM professionals, she excelled at math and found her way to Rock the Street, Wall Street genuinely. In a world where girls are often steered away from math, she’s helping bring the M in STEM to diverse high school girls.From being the only woman in her college math classes, to now serving as COO, Ashley is leading the talented 15-person RTSWS team to implement programming and support our students. Together with volunteers and sponsors, Ashley explains, “We are breaking barriers and empowering the next generation of female leaders in the finance world.“
Marshall Celebrates Rock the Street Wall Street Financial Literacy Club
Marshall Fundamental School is proud to recognize its Rock the Street Wall Street Financial Literacy Club for earning a spot on the RTSWS Fall Honor Roll with the Most Consistent Attendance. Achieving an impressive average of 42 attendees per meeting, the club, led by Student CEO Eubee (Grace) Ahn and RTSWS Cabinet Members, collaborated with mentors from First Citizens Bank and Western Asset Management to enhance financial literacy. The semester concluded with a dynamic Field Trip to First Citizens Bank, featuring student presentations and a panel discussion. Kudos to the dedicated students and heartfelt thanks to RTSW Champions, Ms. Irada Melkumyan and Ms. Felita Kealing, for their support.
Rock The Street, Wall Street Welcomes Sonya Park to Its Board of Directors
Rock The Street, Wall Street (RTSWS), the nonprofit bringing the M in STEM to diverse high school girls is pleased to announce the appointment of Sonya Park, Managing Director at State Street Global Advisors, as a new member of its Board of Directors. Ms. Park joins this distinguished Board, led by Chairman Anders Hall, Vice Chancellor for Investments and Chief Investment Officer at Vanderbilt University.
