Whether women work full-time year-round, full-time per week, or whether all women with earnings are included, they face a substantial wage gap. Women who worked full-time year- round in 2022 made just 84.0 cents on the dollar paid to men. In 2023, the weekly earnings of women full-time workers were just 83.6 cents on the dollar paid to full-time working men and just 78.1 cents on the dollar when including both full-time and part-time workers with earnings.

Maura Cunningham is Founder and CEO of Rock The Street, Wall Street , a financial and investment literacy program designed to bring both gender and racial equity to the financial markets and spark the interest of high school girls into finance. RTSWS is a non-profit partner of 100 Women In Finance.
Anders Hall is Vice Chancellor for Investments and Chief Investment Officer at Vanderbilt University. He works on the buy-side of the business and leads the Office of Investments, where he is responsible for managing the university’s $10 billion long-term investment pool, including the endowment.
Today, the European Parliament has formally adopted the new EU law on gender balance on corporate boards. By 2026, companies will need to have 40% of the underrepresented sex among non-executive directors or 33% among all directors.
